Backstepping Sliding Mode Controller for Switched Reluctance Motor with Combined Nonlinear Model

Today, Switched Reluctance Motors (SRM) are widely used in research and daily life due to their ability provide large starting torque low manufacturing costs. In terms of kinematics control, the SRM drive system displays high nonlinearity motor structure inverter, which switches between phases operate motor. Most current focuses on controlling without considering caused by inverter. A few studies have dealt with combined systems consisting inverter linearizing model. Although this method is simple, control quality not as it fails account for This paper presents a nonlinear algorithm model switched reluctance Inverter, specifically backstepping sliding mode algorithm, ensures asymptotic stability according Lyapunov standard. The simulation results demonstrate that controller synthesized from provides good compared previously published H infinity feedback controller, particularly when comes responding changes speed setpoint effectively handling load disturbances.
